Writing
What decisions actually cost me, written down while I still remember.
- Claude changed how I work, and I’m still not sure that’s a good thing Before, when I hit a hard design problem, I sat with it. Now my first move is to open a conversation. That worries me.
- Good product design is not about Figma I once spent three weeks on a design system nobody used. The file was immaculate.
- MVP vs prototype: the distinction that cost me four months I spent four months building a “minimum” version. The landing page would have answered the same question in nine days.
- Is a UX certification worth it? I have one and nobody has ever asked I paid for the certificate and the degree. Nobody has ever asked to see them. That is not the same as saying they were worthless.
- When to design for scale, and when it is just expensive guessing I have been burned from both sides: once by a design that could not grow, once by one built to grow into a market that never arrived.
- HEART framework vs NPS: what I learned after two years of using both I wrote the optimistic version of this in 2024. Two years later, three of the five dimensions are gone.

Every other week,
one thing I got wrong.
And what it cost. No roundups, no five tips, no news.
