Three things I do
for other people.
The rest of this site is what I build and what I learn doing it. This page is the part you can hire.
-
Web design
The site around your product — the pages people read before they decide whether to trust you with anything.
What this involves -
Web development
Turning a design into a site that loads immediately, works without JavaScript, and can be handed to somebody else without a briefing.
What this involves -
Website audit
A written review of the site you already have, in the order I would fix it.
What this involves
What happens after you write to me.
- 01
You send a brief
A form, five minutes, no call. It asks what you are building and what is in the way.
- 02
I read it
Myself. Within five working days you get a written reply.
- 03
The reply is specific
What fits, what it would involve, roughly what it costs — or that none of it fits, and why.
- 04
Then we talk, if there is a reason to
Not before. A call to find out whether there is anything to discuss is a call that should have been an email.
There are no prices on this page.
Not as a tactic. Two projects with the same title are routinely a month apart in effort, and a number published before I know which one yours is would be wrong in one of two directions — either I have quoted you for somebody else’s project, or you have ruled me out over a figure that did not apply to you.
The intake asks for a budget range instead. That is there so I can tell you early if we are not in the same conversation, which is cheaper for both of us than finding out in week three.
Tell me about
your project.
